ABOUT ME

Growing up amongst the infusion of art and culture prevalent in Washington Heights, a neighborhood of Manhattan, has greatly influenced my love and appreciation for the arts; living only six miles from midtown, the epicenter of Broadway, allowed me to experience the professional angle of theatre. Attending LaGuardia High School for Music, Art, and the Performing Arts has allowed me to fuse all my experiences into who I am today.

My acting career started at the young age of three when I performed as the "Elephant Bird" in a local production of Seussical. After that, I dabbled in small projects until I landed my first professional New York agent where I booked The Unbreakable Kimmy Shmidt, my television debut. Booking a featured role in a popular syndicated TV Program spurred the realization that acting is my passion. At LaGuardia High School, I had the opportunities to play as both the loveable nerd “Dennis” in the musical “All Shook Up,” as well as the privilege of leading our operetta “The Merry Widow” as the dashing “Price Danilo.” As a senior vocal major at LaGuardia, I worked upwards of 5 hours a day minimum working on my musicality through the various choirs I had the incredible opportunity to be a part of. Whether it was: spreading joy through Gospel, incredible focus through Classical/Orratorio, or sheer fun with Show Choir and our Operetta, there was always somewhere to push myself harder to be a better musician and singer.

Today, I am fortunate enough to be attending Boston University’s BFA Acting program. Although I’m still working through my freshman year my life has certainly already been changed. Although starting once again as a freshman is jarring, it allows for a new level of growth both as a person and as a professional in the arts.
